About Us
NOW Soccer Academy provides unprecedented and individually tailored soccer skills training with the focus of developing elite players and helping them achieve their goals – on and off the field. After playing at the collegiate, national and international levels, and coaching at the top club level for over a decade, the NOW instructional methodology was developed and perfected by Norbert Webley. The program is structured like the martial arts system where players work their way through progressions of training curriculum and levels from Cadet through Elite, with each level increasing in complexity and speed of play. We offer small group and private training as well as summer camps, position-specific clinics, and gameplay kick-arounds. Our staff is also available to host or conduct onsite camps for your entire team. We believe that the only place SUCCESS comes before WORK is in the dictionary. Our program challenges players on an individual level and prepares them to execute when they return to their team environment.
Meet Our Staff
Norbert Webley
Owner & Director of Coaching
Norbert Webley is the Founder and Director of Coaching of NOW Soccer Academy and NOW Swarm FC, responsible for the club’s player development pathway, coach education standards, and the consistent execution of its game model across age groups.
Norbert’s passion for soccer began as a child and developed into an elite playing career. He represented the Jamaica National Team from ages 15–21 and began his career in the United States on a soccer scholarship.
For more than 20 years, Norbert has coached, provided skills training, and developed competitive athletes. His work centers on making development measurable and repeatable. He has built a connected curriculum that links weekly themes, role-specific responsibilities, and game-real scenarios so players learn not only what to do, but why and when under pressure, at speed, and in the moments that decide matches. His methodology emphasizes modern positional play, strong transition habits, and a shared language that helps coaches teach faster and players play with clarity.
To support staff and families, Norbert creates practical systems that translate ideas into daily training: scenario-based drill libraries, session templates, and video/KPI review frameworks. These tools help coaches align on non-negotiables, track progress over time, and give players clear targets they can own.
Above all, Norbert is committed to a culture of high standards and high care, accountability, honesty, and belief. He works closely with coaches, players, and families to ensure every athlete has a clear pathway to improve, compete with confidence, and grow as a teammate and person.
Kait McBride
Operations
Unlike many of our staff who found their path through playing or coaching, Kait’s journey into the soccer world began with business.
A local graduate of East Limestone High School and holding a Business Management degree from Western Governors University, Kait brings structure, strategy, and organization to everything happening behind the scenes at NOW Soccer Academy.
While you won’t see her running drills on the field, you’ll see her impact everywhere else. From registrations and billing to scheduling, marketing, communication, and special projects, Kait has a hand in every moving part of the academy earning her the affectionate title of “Chaos Coordinator.”

Kiri Wani
Staff Coach
Kiri began his soccer journey at just 7 years old in Leeds, England, where he spent 8 years developing his skills and love for the game. After moving to Decatur, Alabama, he continued his playing career at Austin High School, excelling as a winger and striker.
Following graduation, Kiri returned to Austin High as an assistant coach, giving back to the program that shaped him. He also brought his enthusiasm and energy to the UAH Kid Summer Soccer Camp, where he worked with young players across all skill levels.
Today, you’ll find Coach Kiri leading academy sessions during the week and spending his Saturday mornings with the Cadet group. He’s also still active on the pitch, playing with his HASL team and sharing his passion for the game as one of our dedicated NOW coaches.
Coach Kiri brings a blend of international experience, local pride, and infectious energy to everything he does!
